2. General

This website is a purely static information page. We do not collect any personal data ourselves, set no cookies and use no localStorage. Only the system fonts of your device are used; no external font services (such as Google Fonts) are embedded. For audience measurement we use the cookieless analytics service Plausible (see section 4).

3. Hosting (GitLab Pages)

This website is served via GitLab Pages, a service of GitLab Inc., 268 Bush Street #350, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. When you visit the website, GitLab processes technical connection data (server log files), in particular IP address, time of access, user agent/browser information and referrer URL. This processing serves the secure operation and delivery of the website.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

Data processing agreement: A GitLab Data Processing Addendum pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Third-country transfer: Transfers to the USA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. Details of the processing and log retention are described in GitLab's privacy statement.

4. Web Analytics (Plausible Analytics)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analytics service by Plausible Insights OÜ (Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia). Plausible collects no personal data, sets no cookies and uses no fingerprinting. Only anonymised, aggregated usage statistics are recorded (such as page views, referrer sources, browser/operating system, country). Identifying individual visitors is technically impossible. The analytics script is served by this website itself; the anonymous measurement data collected is transmitted to Plausible (plausible.io).

Data processing: All data is processed and stored exclusively on servers within the European Union (Germany). No third-country transfer takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of usage behaviour to improve our website).

No cookie banner required: As Plausible sets no cookies and neither stores nor reads information on your device, no consent pursuant to § 25 TTDSG is required.
